Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India has envisioned this portal to create a one-stop-shop of convenient and efficient online G2B services to the business community. This objective will be attained by reducing the complexity in obtaining information and services related to starting businesses in India, and in dealing with licenses and permits across the business life-cycle.
The content of this portal, including information, tools and links, is intended to be helpful to the widest range of businesses.
The purpose of this portal is to enable efficient G2B interactions for existing business entities and those intending to start a business by providing access to information and services.
DPIIT will ensure that content on this site is accurate and current on a best effort basis. DPIIT shall address any errors or omissions on a priority basis as soon as they are notified by either the business users or government departments. However DPIIT cannot ensure that the content is always accurate and current and is applicable to specific circumstances or business situations
DPIIT reserves the right to deny a particular user from availing the services and/or delete the user account in case of abuse which could include, but is not limited to, hacking, submission of obscenities, fraud or propagation of computer viruses. DPIIT may also make changes to any service without prior notice and this may also include removal of service from the website.
This portal must be used for lawful purposes only and should not be used for any of the following activities:-
1. To communicate, publish or propagate any material which is offensive, abusive, defamatory, indecent, obscene, threatening or illegal or in breach of copyright, trade mark, confidence, privacy or any other rights

There should not be any attempt to bypass security measures of the website for the purpose of modifying the site content or accessing other user information. This shall be treated as an unlawful act.
DPIIT shall not be responsible for the content of access of any linked website external to this portal and shall not take any responsibility for the consequences of using the information thereof. Online transactions are carried out in a secure mode. Payments are accepted through the NTRP payment gateway which is meant for collecting Government NON TAX RECEIPTS. The terms and conditions of the payment gateway are different from those of this portal and it is advised that the users read them carefully.
DPIIT does not take any responsibility of data transmission over the internet and does not guarantee that it will be totally secure. DPIIT will strive to protect such information but does not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information transmitted to us from the users. Such transmission of information is at the users risk. DPIIT will not be liable for any damages or loss arising out of or resulting from any unauthorized access to this portal and /or alteration or modification of the information contained on this portal.
